Tony Romo cited for refusing intoxication test after Milwaukee arrest

CBS 58 / Wisconsin Court System MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has been issued a citation for refusing to take a test for intoxication after his arrest in Milwaukee on Thursday, July 23, court records show.
Romo was arrested on suspicion of operating while intoxicated, first offense, after being stopped while driving south on Interstate 43, according to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office.
Officials say he was booked and released.
Court records filed Monday, July 27 show Romo has retained an attorney and requested a hearing on the refusal citation. He is due in court Monday, Sept. 21.
Romo, who has not publicly addressed the arrest, grew up in Burlington, about 35 miles from Milwaukee.
