Mom calls police after son gets threatening message from 51-year-old man

BROWN DEER, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Just before 11 p.m. Thursday night a Brown Deer woman called police because her 11-year-old son received a threatening message on his Instagram account.

The woman told police that her two sons were playing at Brown Deer Middle/High School when a 51-year-old man sent threatening messages to the 11-year-old using his son's Instagram.

The 51-year-old told police that he sent the messages because he thought someone was luring his son to the High School.

No formal complaint was filed and the man was counseled by police of his actions.
