Milwaukee's Morse Middle School moves to virtual learning due to COVID-19 cases

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- MPS announced Wednesday, Sept. 8, that Morse Middle School will move to a virtual flexible schedule for 10 days. 

The change comes after the school reported three percent of the total school population tested positive for COVID-19 within a 14-day period. 

MPS says the school will return to in-person learning on Monday, Sept. 20.

They say teachers will reach out to parents with further information. 

During virtual learning, students may pick up meals at one of the following schools between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.

  • Andrew Douglas Middle School
  • Milwaukee Academy of Chinese Language
  • North Division High School
  • Parkside
  • South Division
  • Vincent High School
