MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A Milwaukee woman is asking for help in finding her motorized scooter that was stolen outside of a brewery early Sunday morning.
“I’m really at a loss,” Sarah Gleason said.
Gleason works at MobCraft Beer and parked the 1994 Honda Elite scooter outside of the brewery Saturday evening and into the early hours of Sunday morning.
The theft near 5th and W. Virginia St. was caught surveillance footage. It shows a man going up to the scooter and walking it out of sight.
Gleason, who is also a college student, says the scooter is her main mode of transportation.
“I ride my scooter seven or eight months out of the year,” she said. “It’s extremely cost efficient for a full time student to be able to get to and from all the things I need to get to.”
Gleason says the scooter is covered in decorative stickers.
A police report was filed but Gleason has not heard anything. She asks anyone with information to contact authorities.
