MILWAUKEE COUNTY (CBS 58) -- A 29-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested on Wednesday after fleeing from police.

An officer conducted a traffic stop around 1 a.m. in the 7200 block of N. Sherman Boulevard for a woman who had a valid warrant through the Brown Deer Police Department.

After refusing to exit the vehicle, the woman fled southbound on Sherman Boulevard and a short pursuit was initiated.

Officers terminated the pursuit in the 2400 block of W. Green Tree Road.

The vehicle was later located at the woman's home unoccupied. The woman came out of the home and was arrested for the warrant, fleeing an officer, and reckless driving.
