Milwaukee VA expands COVID-19 vaccinations to those 65 and older

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee VA Medical Center is expanding its COVID-19 vaccinations to include enrolled veterans 65 and older, on dialysis, receiving chemotherapy or homeless.

The medical center is reaching out directly to schedule appointments, according to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, contingent on vaccine supply.

VA officials ask all veterans to wait until they are contacted.

Vaccinations are by appointment only.

The VA says veterans should ensure their contact information is up to date at www.myhealth.va.gov.
