Milwaukee Starts Snow Operations

The City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works has started to put a brine on streets throughout the city with a mixture of salt and water.
100 salt truck drivers have been put on notice for the first snow of the season, but at this point widespread plowing operations are not expected.
At the beginning of the season, DPW had 41,000 tons of salt in supply with additional shipments already secured for delivery.
