Milwaukee School Children Receive 8,000 Winter Coats from Fire Department

The weather is getting colder, but thousands of Milwaukee school kids will stay warm this winter thanks to the help of the Milwaukee Fire Department.

They delivered more 8,000 winter coats to schools around the city this week. The department started distribution at Forest Home Avenue School.

Throughout the month of June firefighters collected donations at intersections throughout the city  that campaign helped raise $115,000 used to buy these coats.
