Milwaukee Renames Bus Route 'Favre Line'

You're going to hear a lot about Brett Favre for the next week as we get closer to the retirement ceremony for his number four jersey in Green Bay. Thursday in Milwaukee, County Executive Chris Abele announced that the transit system is renaming one of its routes after the QB from now until Thanksgiving night.

"I encourage people whenever they want to get out of this cold, which by the way, Brett Favre never minded, to hop on the Favre line, which they can do for the week leading up to the retirement ceremony for his jersey," said Abele.

The ‘Favre Line’ runs between Bayshore Mall and Mitchell International Airport. It's normally called the "green line", but for at least one week, it will be more like green and gold.
