MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- There were smiling faces in the classroom Tuesday, Nov. 22, at Milwaukee's Riverwest Elementary School.

Thanks to a donation from the Milwaukee Police Association (MPA), these kids will have a full Thanksgiving dinner with their families. 

Officers from the MPA dropped off about 20 full dinners at the school on N. Fratney Street. 

This delivery grew out of a friendship between one of the teachers at Riverwest, Angel Roman, and Alex Ayala from the MPA.

They've worked together to bring supplies to the classroom, and on Tuesday, they made sure that the kids will have turkey with the fixins on Thursday.
