Milwaukee Police Arrest Man with Loaded Gun at Gas Station

Milwaukee Police Officers arrested a man parked at a gas station with a loaded gun.

The man’s vehicle matched the description of a vehicle taken in an armed robbery.

The officers were driving in the 1500 block of W. Hopkins Street around 10:35 p.m. on February 23 when they saw a car parked in a gas station that matched the description of a vehicle taken in an armed robbery.

Near the car was a male subject who reached into his waistband and placed an object next to the gas pump.

When the officers approached the subject, they found a loaded semi-automatic gun next to the gas pump.

The subject, a 26-year-old Milwaukee man, tried to run away but he was taken into custody on charges of Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Resisting an Officer.
