Milwaukee Police are investigating a homicide that occurred in the rear parking area of an apartment in the 8300 Block of West Congress at 5:07 AM on November 22.

Officers responded to a 911 call and found a 34-year-old man from Milwaukee suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim died on scene despite lifesaving efforts of the officers and Milwaukee Fire Department personnel.

It was reported that the victim was involved in a physical altercation just prior to the shooting, complete circumstances surrounding this incident remain under investigation.
