CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee is turning green on Saturday, March 14, as preparations are underway for Shamrock Club of Wisconsin's annual St. Patrick's Day Parade.
The celebration kicks off at West Wisconsin Avenue, and will stretch through all of downtown's entertainment districts.
The parade steps off Saturday at noon on Wisconsin Avenue at MLK Drive.
At 3rd Street Market Hall, a news conference was held laying out the plan for the parade.
Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson was there and could not have been more excited for the St. Patrick's Day fun.
New this year, the Shamrock Club and Westown Association's partnership with Guinness, Ireland's most popular stout.
