Milwaukee driver arrested for 4th OWI Sunday night
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee woman was arrested late Sunday night for her fourth charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence.
In a press release, the Wisconsin State Patrol Waukesha Post reported that on Jan. 1 at around 10:28 p.m., a trooper stopped a vehicle driving erratically on I-43 near the Marquette Interchange.
53-year-old Peggy Mora was arrested, being held on a felony charge of a 4th offense of operating while intoxicated, as well as a 4th offense of operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration over .15.
Officials claim Mora "displayed signs of impairment" before she was arrested after being administered a field sobriety test. A chemical test was also performed at a local police station.
Troopers report that Mora also initially provided them with a false name, adding a charge of obstruction. Citations were also issued for operating while her license was revoked as well as deviating from a designated lane.
Her charges are pending trial.
