MILWAUKEE COUNTY (CBS 58) -- Sunday morning around 9:20 a.m. a Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office squad car was blocking a lane of I-43 south at Port Washington Road guarding a crash when it was hit by another car.
Two deputies were sitting in the driver and front passenger seat with a citizen in the back seat when a car driving south hit the squad.
The Deputy in the passenger seat was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driving deputy was treated on scene for injuries. The citizen in the back seat was not injured.
The driver of the car that hit the squad was given a ticket for driving too fast for conditions.
According to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's office this is the fourth crash in the past 23 days where a Deputy was hit in Milwaukee County.
