MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- One person was injured after stopping to help at an accident scene.

According to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office, a Toyota with three people was disabled in the right distress lane on southbound I-894/I-41 at Greenfield Avenue.

A pickup truck with two people stopped at the scene to assist. 

While the driver of the pick-up truck was standing outside of his vehicle, a Chevy Malibu coming from the east to the south ramp lost control and struck him.

The driver of the Chevy Malibu consented to a voluntary blood draw.

This incident remains under investigation.

MILWAUKEE COUNTY (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office is on scene of a crash at 894/I-41 southbound at Greenfield.

The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Traffic is being diverted off at Greenfield Avenue from the east to the south ramp and west to the south ramp.

It's unclear on what led up to the crash or if there were any injuries.

The investigation remains ongoing.
