Milwaukee County Done with Recount

MADISON (AP) — A federal judge is set to consider halting Wisconsin's presidential recount. Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton by more than 22,000 votes in the state. Two pro-Trump groups filed a federal lawsuit December 1, the day the recount began, seeking to stop the process. Judge James Peterson has scheduled a hearing Friday in Madison.

The recount has officially ended in Milwaukee County. According to election officials the county was done around 9:00 PM Thursday night.

As of 5:00 PM on Thursday, 34 counties in the state had finished recounting ballots.
