Milwaukee Bucks welcome 2019 babies with keepsake blanket

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Newborns across the area will be welcomed into more than one family this year thanks to a partnership between Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin and the Milwaukee Bucks.

All 2019 newborns at the hospital network’s birth centers will get a keepsake Bucks blanket.

“What better way to have the next generation of Bucks fans at birth,” Bucks and Fiserv Forum president Peter Feigin said.

On Thursday, Feigin and Bango visited the newborns wrapped in their blankets.

One mom said the keepsake was a nice surprise.

“I was excited because I was joking how big his feet are, said he’s going to be a basketball player and then look who’s here, the Bucks!” Mom Amy Uebelacker said.

Several parents said once they’re out of the hospital, they can’t wait to bring their little one to a Bucks game.
