The two men were trying to save 10-year-old Mouhammad Arman Rashidullah who was also swept away by the water. The body of the boy was recovered Tuesday afternoon.

All three were members of Milwaukee's Rohingya community.
"This community is an extremely tight-knit and very strong community," Milwaukee Fire Chief Aaron Lipski told reporters at a news conference Thursday. "And we are hopeful and we offer our support that they are going to be able to pull through this and find strength on the other side."
