November starting off on a cool, showery note
Milwaukee (CBS 58)--Sounds, sights, and tastes of Mexico dominate the Milwaukee lakefront this weekend for Mexican Fiesta. This time around marks 45 years of celebrating community spirit "South of the Border." You can expect to hear music from Mariachi bands and learn to make tortillas. And if you're lucky enough, you might even catch a glimpse of two living statues new to the Summerfest grounds this year.
Mexican Fiesta kicks off at noon today and runs until midnight. It's free to get in until 3 this afternoon as well. There will be similar hours Saturday and Sunday. Look for opening ceremonies to take place at 5 this afternoon.
This year, CBS 58 and sister station Telemundo are proud sponsors of the annual event.
