MCTS, Transit Union Negotiations "made progress" on Day One

In a joint statement released to CBS 58, Milwaukee County Transit System and the transit union (Amalgamated Transit Union Local 998) say they, “made progress toward a four-year agreement.”
MCTS presented a comprehensive proposal which the union will be reviewing and considering. A second negotiation meeting with a Federal Mediator will take place August 10 in an effort to reach an agreement.
