Nearly 2 years after fire, Eden Meat Market rises from the ashes
Milwaukee (CBS 58)--Your "McFood" will be getting a taste upgrade as top chefs around the Milwaukee area add their flavor to McDonald's favorites, like McGriddles and the Big Mac. For a third year, McDonald's "Unwrapped" will take place Thursday evening. Seven different restaurants, including Saz's and Hotel Madrid, and Safehouse, will showcase some delectable dishes. And while food is certainly the backdrop for the event, it's really a fundraiser for SHARP Literacy, so local kids attending at-risk schools can learn how to read.
"McDonald's Unwrapped" goes from 5:30 to 8:30 Thursday evening at South Second banquet facility in the Walker's Point neighborhood of Milwaukee. Tickets are still available. If you want to attend, click here to purchase them and learn more about the event itself.
