MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The City of Milwaukee kicked off its flu shot season campaign today and even the mayor rolled up his sleeve!
Both he and Health Commissioner Bevan Baker visited a free flu vaccine clinic at Neighborhood House on the north side to get their seasonal shots and to reassure people who might have second thoughts about getting vaccinated.
"It's gonna cover four different strains of flu so this vaccine is gonna give you pretty good coverage but we never know, so it's important to get it. It's gonna lessen the severity of disease if you should contact the flu so the most important thing you can do is to get the vaccine," said Commissioner Bevan Baker.
