HORICON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- U.S. Marine Corps veteran Chad Swetmore was given a new roof from BRH Enterprises, an Owens Corning Platinum Roofing Contractor, as part of the Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project.
CBS 58
It's a nationwide effort to honor those who have given so much to this country, and their families who support them.
CBS 58 spoke with someone who was helping build the roof, who says the crew is more than happy to help those who have served.
"To us it's more about just giving him a roof it's about protection security peace of mind so he doesn't have to worry about this he's already given so much for our country, and it is really just our way to give back and we are super excited to be a part of this for someone local in the community," said Bryce Hanke, president of BRH Enterprises.
Since 2016, the program has helped more than 850 military members get a new roof installed.
