Manitowoc Police Receive 15 Reports of Windows Shot Out
MANITOWOC, Wis. - Police are investigating after multiple people in Manitowoc had their windows shot out by a BB or pellet gun overnight.
Officials say that they have received a total of 15 calls of this type of vandalism starting at 10:30 p.m. Thursday into Friday morning.
Most of the damage was done to car windows, but several homeowners said they received damage to windows on doors of their homes as well. All but one of the incidents happened on the south side of Manitowoc.
People told police that they heard the damage occurring to their vehicle and then heard a vehicle speeding away from the area.
A description by one homeowner of a possible suspect vehicle involved in these incidents is an older model SUV, described as an older smaller version of a Chevrolet Blazer. (S-10 type model). Any persons with any information about these incidents should call the Manitowoc Police Department at 920-686-6551 or Crime Stoppers at 920-683-4466 where they could remain anonymous and be eligible for a cash reward of up to $500.00
