Man tries to drive home after numerous drinks during heart of snow storm

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- During the heart of Friday morning's snow storm Milwaukee County Deputies responded to a crash on I-43 north near County Line Road. Bayside Police officers were the first on scene around 3:45 a.m. and believed that the driver was drunk.

The 48-year-old St. Francis man, Anthony George, blew a 0.14 on a Breathalyzer and was arrested for his fourth OWI. Previous convictions were in 1990, 2012 and 2014.

George lost control of his car and hit the median barrier cables before sliding into a ditch.

The man said he had seven or eight drinks at a bar in St. Francis and was driving home.

George faces up to six years in prison.
