MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A man charged with shooting and killing Milwaukee Police Officer Matthew Rittner is now facing an additional charge.
Jordan Fricke pleaded not guilty to recklessly endangering safety for his actions involving a third officer on the scene. Fricke is accused of fatally shooting Officer Rittner on February 6 while he was conducting a search warrant at a home for illegal guns and drugs.
At Thursday's court appearance, the judge said he would consider sequestering the jury for the trial which is expected to start July 8.
