Man charged after shooting rifle into the air and ground in Sheboygan

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- According to Sheboygan Police, they were dispatched to the area around 2200 Cleveland Avenue Sunday at around 1:45 p.m. for a report of shots being fired.

Officers interviews a 26-year-old man who admitted to shooting a rifle into the air and ground.

No one was targeted or injured in the incident.

The man will be charged with a number of weapons related offenses.
