Maldonado, Gallardo step in, lift Crew

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.--The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Tampa Bay Rays 5-0 Wednesday afternoon.
Backup catcher Martin Maldonado collected three hits and batted in four of the Brewers' five runs. Aramis Ramirez had the other RBI.
Pitcher Yovani Gallardo earned the win, pitching seven shutout innings with five strikeouts.
