MADACC's "Empty the Shelter" event already a success

Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission's first \"Empty the Shelter\" event is already a success.
On October 4th and 5th, the shelter is waiving the fee for all animals up for adoption. This does not include the $12 county licensing fee.
MADACC has 80 cats and 32 dogs currently at its facility. As of Thursday morning, MADACC had already processed more than 200 applications and is still accepting applications via email, fax, or in person.
Employees at MADACC tell CBS 58 News the demand has been more than they expected.
