MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation will honor Milwaukee Brewers broadcaster Bob Uecker during the 53rd annual Lombardi Golf Classic. The event begins Friday, June 6 with an Evening Gala at the Pfister Hotel and concludes Saturday, June 7 with a tournament at North Hills Country Club.
Foundation Executive Director Ann Marie Moss joined us Thursday, April 24 to preview the tribute and panel discussion with former Brewers Scott Karl and Geoff Jenkins.
Uecker, who received the foundation’s Award of Excellence in 2015, participated in the golf classic for decades.
Registration is limited to 32 foursomes. Gala tickets are available to the public. Proceeds support cancer prevention, care and research. More information is available by clicking here.
