Local man suffers minor injuries after turkey strikes windshield

A turkey struck a car’s windshield causing the driver from the Village of Richfield to suffer minor injuries.
According to Washington County Sheriff’s Office, 55-year-old Village of Richfield man sustained the injuries after being cut by flying glass as the turkey attempted to take flight from the ditch area and hit the vehicle’s windshield.
The incident occurred in 3000 block of Hwy Q on Sunday at about 1:20 p.m.
