Adaptive sports bootcamp gives paralyzed veterans a second chance
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Sue Jarvela, a local chef, has advanced to the quarterfinals of the global "Favorite Chef" competition.
Jarvela joined 1,728 chefs divided into 144 groups of 12, competing to be number one in each group to advance towards the prize of $25,000 as well as a cover of Taste of Home magazine and a chance to cook with celebrity chef Carla Hall.
She joined us on Thursday, July 11 to discuss her journey, beginning with an unexpected entry through a Facebook sweepstakes. Encouraged by family and friends, she decided to participate.
