Lisbon railroad crossing to close for 5 days, detour suggested

WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A railroad crossing on County Trunk Highway K in Lisbon will close Monday, Oct. 6 for emergency construction, according to the Waukesha County Department of Public Works.

Officials said the closure affects crossing #692245A on Lisbon Road between County Trunk Highways F and V. The work is being completed in coordination with Canadian National Railway.

The project is expected to last five days, with a planned reopening on Saturday, Oct. 11.

During construction, Highway K will be closed at the crossing. Drivers are asked to follow detour signs using County Trunk Highways F, VV and V.
