MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Grammy award-winning rapper Lil Wayne announced a new tour -- "Tha Carter VI" -- with one stop in Milwaukee on Friday, Aug. 22. 

According to a news release, Tha Carter VI tour -- featuring special gusts Tyga and Belly Gang Kushington -- is a special North American run following the release of his highly anticipated album Tha Carter VI and celebrating over 20 years of his Tha Carter album series.

Lil Wayne will be at Milwaukee's American Family Insurance Amphitheater Friday, Aug. 22.

Tickets will be available starting with artist presale beginning Wednesday, June 4. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general on sale beginning Friday, June 6 at Ticketmaster.com or in person at the American Family Insurance Box Office.
