Most of this week has been pretty dry as we ended August and went into September. That dry stretch of weather changes to end the week with some light scattered showers on Friday and Saturday. The showers start from late Friday morning and then continue off and on through at least Saturday morning and potentially through dinner time.
The rain chance for the next two days isn't a knockout with some areas staying mostly dry or only seeing an isolated shower. The best time period for some showers looks like late Friday afternoon and evening. Sunday will see the sunshine return with decreasing clouds.
Rain totals don't look to be too impressive with most seeing less than a tenth of an inch each day so by the end of Saturday a few locations could be around a quarter of an inch of rain. But certainly not a drought busting rain. If you are going to Summerfest remember that you can bring an umbrella onto the Summerfest grounds but they are not allowed in the Amphitheater.
Temps still stay cooler in the 70s on Saturday with some humidity returning. That humidity will drop on Sunday but temps warm to around 80 by the afternoon. Sunshine also returns Sunday with a decent breeze out of the west.
