MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A plan making it harder for people living in Milwaukee to buy fireworks in the state is moving forward.
The Judiciary and Legislation Committee recommended the adoption of the resolution Tuesday. If passed, it would require sellers to check whether a person buying fireworks lives in a community where they are legal.
It would also make it tougher to get a fireworks distributor license.
The plan is expected to go before the full Common Council on July 30.
