Large Police Presence in Delafield Determined to be Medical Emergency

On Sunday, February 5 Delafield Police were dispatched along with the Lake Country Fire & Rescue for a medical emergency in the parking lot of Sentry Foods on Golf Road. Initial witness reports were unclear as to the nature of the emergency and some witnesses were reporting a possible assault or gunshot wound.

Emergency officials were able to quickly secure the scene and render medical aid along with Lake Country Fire & Rescue and Town of Delafield Fire.

The initial investigation indicates this was a medical emergency and has not revealed any signs of gunshot wounds, assault, or self-inflicted harm.
