Crews respond to fire at Milwaukee U-Haul facility, same location damaged by fire in January

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Firefighters are responding to the U-Haul facility near 1st and Lapham in Milwaukee Monday night, April 6, after reports of smoke came in just before 9 p.m.
According to Milwaukee Fire Department Chief Aaron Lipski, fire was located on the first floor in the south end of the building. Firefighters checked all levels of the facility for people, and no injuries were reported.
The fire is believed to be under control at this time. Chief Lipski says the cause of the fire is unknown.
This is the same facility that was heavily damaged by fire in January.
