Lake Geneva (CBS 58) -- One Lake Geneva bakery is the “creme de la creme” compared to all others in the Badger State. “Lorelei Bittner’s Bakery” just received the title of “Best Bakery in Wisconsin” by National food magazine “Taste of Home.”
Lorelei Bittner’s is known for its chocolate drop cookies and fruit-filled donuts just to name a few of the selections. Owner Amy Peterburs says years of consistency and of course good tasty treats helped her receive the accolades. But she says it’s also about getting back after years of giving to the community.
The bakery is typically closed Sunday though Tuesday but will be opened on Fat Tuesday, selling 20 different kinds of Paczki. The store's address is 495 Interchange N. Click here to see what the bakery provides and if you want to order.
