KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Kenosha police are investigating a homicide after a woman was found dead inside a home in the area of 13th and 57th on Saturday, April 25.

Officers reportedly responded at around 3:30 p.m. to a report of an altercation between two men.

They found a 41-year-old Kenosha resident seriously injured outside before entering the home and finding 37-year-old Stephanie Birn of Kenosha deceased.

A 42-year-old Kenosha resident was detained at the scene and is being held on a probation hold while detectives consult with the Kenosha County District Attorney's Office regarding potential charges.
