Jermichael Finley released from ICU; thanks fans for support

GREEN BAY -- Jermichael Finley suffered a neck injury late in the game against the Cleveland Browns. He was carted off on a stretcher, and placed in ICU. 


Finley has since been released from ICU. He tells fans he has full use of his limbs, and thanks them for their support.


 



I was able 2 walk to & from the shower today, which was badly needed after yesterday's victory! Thank u again 4 the support, and Go Packers!

Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy wouldn't put a timeline on Finley's return to the field. He made it clear the tight end has the thoughts and prayer's of everyone at the Packers organization.


At a Monday afternoon briefing, Coach McCarthy told reporters, \"We do not have enough information. He has to be seen by more than one doctor. I think it's important to always go through the process. And do your due dilligence and at the end of the day we're going to do what's in the best interest of Jermichael Finley.\"
