WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Waukesha veteran David Schultz got a special surprise on Tuesday, employees from Swimming Pool Services came over to decorate his house for the holidays.
"We think it's kind of an honor. We've never been chosen for anything before, this is great," said David Schultz.
One of the veteran's neighbors works at the company and entered him into a contest. Schultz can't climb up on the roof anymore so the help to display some holiday cheer certainly came in handy.
"I can't climb no more, both of us are near 90. She's 89 and I'm almost 89 so we stay on the ground," David Schultz said.
"it's important to give back and that their services don't go unnoticed. We are free because of them," said Scott Duchin with Swimming Pool Services Inc.
Swimming Pool Services also decorated a house for a Cedarburg couple who both served in the army.
