Inflatables take over the outfield Saturday at Lake Country DockHounds Ballpark

OCONOMOWOC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Lake Country DockHounds fans can trade baseballs for bounce houses this weekend as the ballpark transforms into an inflatable playground.

With the DockHounds on the road for the next 10 days, team officials wanted to create a fun way for families to enjoy the stadium over the holiday weekend. The result is an all-day inflatable event featuring more than 30 bounce houses, slides, obstacle courses and games spread across the entire field, from the outfield all the way to the infield.

“We wanted to come up with something epic for families,” said Lisa Kelenic. “Kids love running around the field and they love inflatables, so we thought, why not combine the two?”

The team partnered with an inflatable company to bring the vision to life, designing a layout packed with oversized attraction

Each ticket is for a 3-hour time slot. There will be a section for toddlers as well.

Food vendors will also be part of the event, making it a full day of family entertainment at the ballpark.
