Illinois Man Arrested in Kenosha for 10 Pounds of Marijuana, Guns and Money

On March 2, 2016, at approximately, 1:30 PM, members of the Kenosha Sheriff’s Department Patrol and K9 Deputies arrested Lionel Reyes in the Woodman’s Market parking lot located at 7145 120th Avenue in Kenosha. Reyes is a 31-year-old man who resides in Park Ridge, Illinois and arrived at Woodman’s Market in his 2015 Cadillac Escalade.  He was quickly taken into custody without incident. 

The Kenosha Sheriff’s K9 located five vacuumed sealed bags of high-grade marijuana with a total weight of 81.130 ounces. The packaged high-grade marijuana street valued at $28,395.50.

Reyes was arrested, and transported to the Kenosha Sheriff’s Department Pretrial Jail Facility. While Reyes remained in custody members of Kenosha PD attempted to secure a search warrant for Mr. Reyes Illinois residences.

Members of Kenosha PD and DEA Officers from Chicago served the search warrant at Reyes’ Illinois residence. The search warrant yielded ten pounds of high-grade marijuana valued at $56,000, four firearms (two pistols, rifle, shotgun, and ammunition), and $120,000.
