MILWAUKEE, WIS (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee woman is sharing her experiences with human trafficking with the world by putting them in a book.
"I decided to write about it not only for myself but also for the people who can't find the words to describe what happened to them, and for the people who didn't survive. I witnessed people die, young ladies, they didn't return home to their families. It could have been me," said Rosalind Metcalf, a Human Trafficking Survivor.
The book is called 'Smoking Out The Shadows.' It was written by Rosalind Metcalf. She was a 15-year-old held captive in the sex trade industry.
Metcalf and others in the community held a launch for the memoir at Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery.
