CHICAGO (CBS 58) – Packers fans in Chicago, Wisconsin and across the nation are celebrating Friday following the team’s 10-3 win against the Bears on Thursday night.
“You can’t write off Aaron Rodgers that quickly,” one fan said.
CBS 58 spotted Packers fans still celebrating the victory early Friday morning in Chicago.
“I’m excited because me and my best friend are rivals, she’s a Bears fan and I’m a Packers fan so we just butt heads all the time,” Umeka White said. “I’m just so happy I can rub this in her face because all week she’s been blowing up at me, ‘Oh we’re going to win, we’re going to win’ no, we won.”
The Packers take on the Minnesota Vikings at Lambeau Field in Week 2 of the season.
