Hunger Task Force Increases Holiday Hours

Hunger Task Force has extend its office hours to accommodate increased holiday donations through the end of the year. Hours will be 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday – Friday and 9:00 AM – noon on Saturday. Hunger Task Force is located at 201 S. Hawley Court in Milwaukee.

Volunteers assist throughout the season and will help unload donations behind the building at Dock 1.

“Milwaukeeans really step up to help local families this time of year and we want to make dropping off donations as convenient as possible. Just take the Hawley Road exit off of I-94 and here we are. It takes five minutes to get off the freeway, donate and get back on the freeway. We timed it!” said Sherrie Tussler, Executive Director of Hunger Task Force. “We’re hoping folks will be super generous this year.”

Non-perishable food items like gravy, Bisquick, stuffing and items to make green bean casserole are always welcome. Frozen turkeys make a great donation and can be stored for Thanksgiving delivery. All turkey donations will be matched by Rexnord.
