MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- An HIV positive Wauwatosa man who’s accused of sexually assaulting a teenage boy appeared in Waukesha County Court Friday morning. 51-year-old Eugene Gross will go to trial where he will plead not guilty.
Gross is facing multiple charges after police say he had unprotected sex with a 15-year-old Brookfield boy in July and August.
Brookfield Police are asking any other potential victims to come forward. Gross has since posted his $10,000 bail.
Friday, he waived his right to a preliminary hearing which automatically means the court finds probable cause he committed a felony and will go to trial.
Gross’s defense attorney also asked the court to adjust Gross’s bail to allow him to use his work computer for work purposes only. Gross is a troubleshooter for AT&T, "If an employee like Mr. Gross goes to unwanted websites or is not doing work on these laptops someone is watching them do this so I feel confident talking to Mr. Gross and before presenting this request to the court that someone will be watching and monitoring his habits on this laptop," said Julius Kim.
The Court Commissioner approved the request. Gross’s next court appearance will be on October 6 at 8:30 a.m.
