WEST ALLIS (CBS 58)--Bring a pair of gloves and get ready to destroy some buckthorn this Saturday from 9 AM until noon at McCarty Park in West Allis. Tools will be provided. The event is all about killing invasive shrubs, making room for native species, and improving habitat for songbirds and bumblebees. You're asked to meet at the northwest corner of the park. Organizers also want a head count. You can click here to pre-register.
